Boston – Senator Richard J. Ross (R-Wrentham) was thrilled to participate in the Second Annual “Read Across Hill-Roberts” celebration at Hill-Roberts Elementary School in South Attleboro this morning. Senator Ross read The Great Fuzz Frenzy by Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel to Mrs. Champlin’s fourth grade classroom.

“Participating in these events is such a treat,” said Senator Ross. “It is always a rewarding experience to visit with the students of my district to share the joy of reading. I hope that events such as these allow the students to foster a love of reading that will stay with them throughout their lives.”

The “Read Across Hill-Roberts” celebration brings guest readers into the school to share their favorite books with students. This year’s themes included community, friendship and love of reading. Students also participate in a variety of other reading-themed events throughout the week.
