Wayland’s Senator Named Ranking Member On Ways And Means

Ross Named to Senate Ways and Means, The Sun Chronicle, 10/02/2013
“State Sen. Richard Ross has been named ranking minority member of the Senate Ways and Means Committee. The committee is one of the most powerful in the Senate, as it handles all spending bills. Ross, R-Wrentham, was named to the post by Republican Leader Bruce Tarr. There are only three Republicans in the 40-person Senate, so each Republican is called upon to perform a number of leadership duties.”
