“The Massachusetts Senate has voted to allow voting to start two weeks before state and federal elections, but rejected an amendment by Sen. Richard Ross to require photo identification cards at the polls. . . Supporters said the measure will expand opportunities to participate in the democratic process by making it easier for more people to vote.”
