A New Start For Lakeview Pavilion

A New Start For Lakeview Pavilion, Country Gazette, 11/11/2014
“Tears fell once again at the site of Foxborough’s Lakeview Pavilion on Nov. 6, but this time they were tears of joy. . . State Sen. Richard Ross, R-Wrentham, was on hand at the event. He said it was his grandfather, William Ross, who purchased the Lakeview Pavilion property in 1890 and built the original ballroom. ‘When I heard that the ballroom had burned down I didn’t know their story of immigration,’ he said. ‘It truly is a story that the American dream is still alive … it shows that you can build from the ashes and that you are weaving yourself into the fabric of the United States of America and what it means to be an American.'”
