“After a grueling election night, Massachusetts gubernatorial candidates Martha Coakley and Charlie Baker went to sleep on Tuesday without an official victor. As morning broke, so did Coakley, conceding the race to her Republican challenger, Baker. . .State Sen. Richard Ross, R-Wrentham, said the Republican contender brought new ideas to the table, appearing to be an outsider, while Coakley lacked luster and distance from an old administration. . .’I think it’s definitely not about party lines, or a Democrat would have been elected,’ Ross said. ‘I think it was about the concept of balance and equal representation. I think the public is ready for that accountability and transparency.'”
