Internships are available throughout the year in Senator Ross’ office for college students. Interns have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and an inside look at how state government works. Interns will work directly with staff on matters related to legislation, policy issues and local matters. General duties include:

  • Attending formal Senate sessions and public committee hearings
  • Researching legislation and policy-related matters
  • Drafting constituent correspondence
  • Gathering relevant news and media clips
  • Tracking legislation
  • Administrative tasks

It is important to note that preference will be given to candidates from Senator Ross’ district, which includes Attleboro, Franklin, Millis, Natick, Needham, Norfolk, North Attleboro, Plainville, Sherborn, Wayland, Wellesley, and Wrentham
